Injection Mold Tending

Tech-Con integrated robot transfer systems are often used to place inserts in a mold or remove cast parts from injection molding machines (metal or plastic).

Cycle times are short. Mold tending tool paths maneuver between tie bars to tight spaces inside the die. To move into the die safely, robots are interlocked with the mold machine. Robot tools work in conjunction with the die ejector pins.

Tech-Con Automation has even set up a robot to handle ladle of molten aluminum.
